Die Keramik ist dabei kein neutraler Untergrund, sondern Teil der Arbeit: rund, begrenzend, manchmal widerspenstig. Die Motive bewegen sich zwischen Figur, Text und Ornament. Oft greifen sie historische Bildwelten, politische oder poetische Fragmente auf und verschieben deren Bedeutung durch den neuen Kontext. Jedes Stück ist ein Unikat. Die Arbeiten sind nicht funktional gedacht, sondern als autonome Objekte .

Drawings on Ceramic

The drawings are developed in the same way as works on paper, but are transferred onto existing ceramic forms. The object is not a neutral surface; its shape, curvature, and limitations actively influence the image. The motifs move between figure, text, and ornament. They often reference historical imagery as well as political or poetic fragments, shifting their meaning through placement and context. Writing becomes image; decoration turns into narrative. Each piece is a unique work. These objects are not intended as functional ceramics, but as autonomous works.
